Platform overview

How FlexyAgents fits together: organizations, agents, knowledge bases, models, channels, automations, and governance—one workspace for customer and internal assistants.

FlexyAgents is a control plane for AI assistants that answer from your approved content and systems. You create agents, attach knowledge (uploads, connectors, crawls), choose hosted inference or your own model keys, deploy to web widgets and messaging channels, and wire automations that notify your stack when conversations need action.

This overview maps the moving parts so deeper guides make sense: what lives at the organization level, what is scoped per agent, and where to go next for your rollout.

Core objects in the workspace

Org, agents, knowledge, and connections

Your organization owns billing, members, and high-level settings. Within it, each agent is an isolated configuration: instructions, model routing, knowledge assignment, channel bindings, and automations. Agents do not share retrieval indexes unless you deliberately attach the same knowledge bases to multiple agents.

Knowledge bases group sources—files, synced connectors, crawled URLs, and structured Q&A rows. Chunking and embeddings run in FlexyAgents so retrieval can rank passages before the model generates a reply. Rich media (images, audio, video) can be OCR’d, transcribed, or described with Gemini when enabled—see Knowledge docs for limits and BYOK.

API connections and embed keys let your product call chat over HTTP or host the widget on your domains. Plan limits apply consistently across surfaces.

Typical journeys

From pilot to production

Support teams often start with a help-center crawl plus a web widget, then add Slack or email when governance is ready. Sales teams may prioritize CRM-facing agents with stricter citation rules. Internal IT or HR copilots typically use scoped knowledge only employees can reach.

The Quickstart guide walks account → first agent → first knowledge source → embed in order. Platform pages on the marketing site summarize connectors, channels, and hosted vs BYOK if you need stakeholder-friendly collateral.
